Gelli Printing...

Well I have found a new love for mono printing. I have purchased a Gelli plate and have been printing everything!!! Still playing with it and trying to perfect it, I find the more I play the better it gets. I watch a lot of videos to learn techniques and I have to say there is a lot of inspiration out there!!! I have a great admiration for their art and very thankful for the opportunity to view it... here is some of my pieces...

 I have used some of these already in my die cuts and on tags. I will be incorporating some into my daughters guest book I am making for her wedding.

Getting Closer!!!

It's almost that time, as my daughter readies our little shop for its Grand Opening on August 20th. We have so many items to make available for purchase. We have been working hard preparing for this. Making sure we have something for everyone. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, key chains, wall decor, all occasion cards and of course gently used vintage items as well. We have been getting a great response from the pictures we post of our unique pieces. As we continue this new journey we are always learning new techniques and thats the best part as it enables us to produce a much more beautiful piece. Until next time....

Getting close...

We are getting close to opening that little corner of our own in the quaint little town of Labelle. Jessica has been hard at work finding objects and pieces to fill our room for displays. We will be featuring our jewelry, decor, and cards as well as some vintage items. My other daughter who is a nail tech features our pieces at her salon and we have another shop owner interested in having our pieces at her new shop. A long with our jewelry, we have been busy creating all occasion cards and some funky wall art. We are also focusing on making items for Christmas as well. I had a fun time creating these Memory Frames as seen here but have not decided what to do with them yet. 

So far this new journey has been exciting and we are looking forward to the up coming holidays!!!

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas...

As we start to learn more about all the different techniques, mixed media, and other items that can be turned into a special piece or creation, the IDEAS just keep coming. So much so my mind is spinning...we are at this moment trying to get our items and name out there in this social network world. We are also in the progress of obtaining a little corner of our own in a wonderful shop. Look for new news of that coming soon!!! In the mean time here are a couple of neat items we made.

A new journey for us

Oh wow, I am new to this blogging. I hope to share the ups and downs as well as the adventures in this new journey in the crafting world.

We are a mother and daughter who like to craft using vintage and eclectic items. We are not just limited to jewelry. We have a passion for what we do and want to make it available and affordable for all. Stop by often as there will always be something new available as we strive for unique creations from life's inspirations. 

We are not limited to just jewelry, we do other crafts as well and sell vintage items we come across in our travels.

Still surprises me at times that my daughter gets amazed at the vintage items and her passion for them. I feel that if I and or we can incorporate them in the items we create all the better...keeps them going on forever.

While we are new to this, I think it will be fun to share our journey with whomever wants to read about it. Until then keep on artsing and crafting...;-)
